It all begins with an idea.
My idea is to encourage you unleash your inner creative whilst having some fun!
Spend an afternoon/evening/day with friends, family or new friends, creating your very own art to take home. Join me for a guided art session, or a weekly class; even a full on residential, where you will create a picture to be proud of - whatever medium you use or level you’re starting at!
No prior art experience necessary and every opportunity will be offered to encourage you unleash your own creativity!
Here’s what a few folk have said:

Jayne, thank you for re-igniting my art buzz! Liz
I really enjoyed being pushed out of my comfort zone and thinking about art differently. Thank you. Ben

If you like all 3 then we’ll set something up to incorporate all mediums … and although there’s obviously no pressure to continue after the beginners course, I’m hoping it might spark some interest for you, unleashing your creativity and inspiring you to do more!

Serendipity: An opportunity to find something good (by chance!) Be Curious! Feel lucky!
Embrace 2026 with the excitement it deserves!
Jayne and Pip had a great time hosting this cosy winter retreat that embraced kindness, creativity and care (with a big dose of fun!) in a beautiful farm house in North Devon, near Bude.
This 3 night retreat kicked off with a welcome drink, a dip in the hot tub and dinner together
Friday, Saturday and most of Sunday was spent doing a multitude of lovely things alongside lovely people! We enjoyed lots of Arty activities including monotone sketching with paint, charcoal and gesso; colourful Anilinky painted birds and a spot of mono-printing - using local fauna and flora; daily walks to explore the countryside, time in the sauna and a great start to the day with morning yoga too for those who wanted it.
Delicious homemade meals and yummy cakes made with local ingredients and a dollop love featured throughout the weekend and everyone wants to return next year!!!.
I’m delighted to say THIS LOVELY ARTY RESIDENTIAL WAS A HUGE SUCCESS … IF YOU’D LIKE TO JOIN US NEXT TIME - DO PLEASE GET IN TOUCH!

March 2027 date tbc 2 nights 3 days
Dearest Gentle Reader,
This author finds herself compelled to share the most exciting of news!
You have been cordially invited to attend a delightful stay in the beautiful UNESCO World Heritage city of Bath next Spring .
I do believe it promises to be the most splendid arty gathering of the season. Chaperone your creativity as we travel back in time to the wonderful world of Jane Austen and Bridgerton. You will be embracing everything delightful that Georgian Bath offers: the grand architecture that fills the city with elaborate crescents and columns; art & fashion from that glorious era, with a peek at the people who lived there - once upon a time. It is a city of story tales and you, dear reader, will be weaving your own whilst you are here.
Gentle reader, you will be residing in the centre of the city in a beautiful Georgian townhouse and we focus our artistic talents on capturing the life and times of Georgian folk … the costumes, the architecture, the letter writing and the secrets of the time. This immersive soiree will see you mingling with the best of society. You are invited to visit No1 Royal Crescent, to traverse around The Circus, and take refreshments at the home of Lady Danberry herself - rumour has it that she might even invite you for afternoon tea?! Do have your calling card to hand?
Dates: tbc
Meet in Bath for 12 noon on the Wednesday and leaving after lunch on the Friday.
Accommodation: I have secured a gorgeous house in the centre of Bath. 3 double ensuite bedrooms and 3 Twin rooms with shared bathrooms - alongside the usual sitting room & kitchen. The programme will be published soon but be assured it will include some lovely art activities, all meals and snacks and a chance to explore the beautiful city of Bath.
